For inforffmon, caU (760) 765-2231 email: 92036 / / / uliannews, com It's always nice to find a specialty store like this, especially when they are hard to find down below in the "big cities". And it's especially nice to shop and buy in such a store as I did this past Christmas where the gals bend over backwards to be helpful, nice and not pushy as I have found to be the case of one such store in this area. The store/shop that I'm talking about is: The Gift Shop inside Dudley's Bakery in Santa Ysabel. This is the only place to shop, find and buy Southwest Indian Turquoise Jewelry. They are by far the best in our community of Julian and certainly in Santa Ysabel. You won't be sorry. A Happy Customer From Julian, Toni Bastien Thank You Mountain Proflame! The Julian High School ASB and sports teams would like to thank Mountain Proflame for donating 60 cases of bottled water with our own personal "Julian High School" labels on them to sell in order to support the teams. The ASB raises money to pay for the referees and other costs that go along with sports. This donation is truly appreciated as we are continually looking for new ways to fund-raise. We can not thank MOUNTAIN PROFLAME enough for their generosity!!! Be sure to look for our personal labeled water at the next sports event you attend!!! The Girls Soccer Team would also like to thank MOUNTAIN PROFLAME for donating new practice uniforms to the team with each athletes name on a jersey!!! We can not say THANK YOU enough!!! Rowlynda Moretti Julian High School Junior, ASB Treasurer Dear Folks: Many of you have heard of (and donated) to the fundraising for purchase of the Carriage Barn as the location for the new medical clinic for Julian. We are still $138,000.00 short of our down payment goal to purchase the new clinic building. For reference that would be 138 people donating a $1000.00 each. As President of the JMF I am urging all of you to help with this effort and donate to this worthy cause. It is also suggested that each of us call those people we know who could help out with a donation and/or assist in a fundraising campaign. The JMF is a 501(C) 3 Charitable organization. Please send your tax deductible donation check to Julian Medical Foundation, POB 2512, Julian CA 92036. Please put your best good- faith effort into this. We only have 3-weeks to get this done. Dr. Carl Englund President, Julian Medical Foundation Announcement: 52nd Congressional District Of California Candidates Organizational Meeting with Candidate - Connie Frankowiak, Date: Sunday, January 24, 2010 Time: 1:00 pm Place: Sizzler 344 Main, Ramona, California Connie Frankowiak's Stands On The Issues I believe that America is no longer a republic because its laws do not apply to all its citizens and therefore America's legal systems must be totally reformed. I believe that lobbyist money and corruption has destroyed our republic and we now have taxation without representation. I believe that fundamental reforms of both the U.S. Government and corporate America is the only way that the American people can regain their republic. I believe America must withdraw all military forces from Iraq, Afghanistan and Pakistan immediately since continuing these 3 insane wars in the most unstable region on earth is just plain stupid and it is also a terrible waste of precious lives and will add trillions to the national debt. I believe we must pass the only sane, sensible, intelligent, cost savings, efficient health care plan possible for all Americans; A Single Payer Health Care Plan and the savings from this plan will insure the Americans that can no longer afford the exorbitant, gouging costs of the HMO's premiums. I also believe that the U.S. Congress should abolish that swindle bill Drug Plan D which has been stealing 10's of billions of dollars from America's seniors and taxpayers every year. Come Join Me On January 24Th So We Can Begin Establishing A New Republic.
