Covered with native plants, one large property presents a "native and wild" garden with wide open spaces for wildlife and desert viewing. At another garden visitors are led into a gated sanctuary reminiscent of old Mexico with a rococo fountain, interesting plants, a pool courtyard and a medicine wheel connecting to views of Indian Head Mountain. Outdoor living is the focus of an owner-designed modern home and garden. One of the bst views in De Anza, the property offers private outdoor dining, a pond and vistas of open desert all the way to the Santa Rosa Mountains. Castle Garden with 360-degree views is home for a well-know plantsman who has created a garden of rare plants and an oasis created for wildlife viewing. With views of Font's Piont and graced with Artist John Richen gates and sculptures, another garden emphasizes a desert landscape but is also lush with roses, bougainvillea, rosemary, and olive. A school vegetable patch--a work in progress--is growing beans, radishes, lettuce, spinach, and squash and is a bonus garden on this year's tour. Monday, March 28 5:00 to 8 p.m. We'll have fun, delicious food and drink. Plus meet members of the 4 th of July Parade Committee. 50/50 drawing Raffle tickets to ride in vintage aircraft available.
