World rights reserved. John Francis Goeb June 24, 1931 - March 10, 2013 John Francis Goeb, age 81, of Julian, California died Sunday, March 10th, 2013. He was born to the late Charles and Annabelle Goeb, June 24, 1931, in San Diego, California. John was married to his late wife, Charlotte Scales Allen on October 18, 1951. When they married, Charlotte had two young daughters,' Peggy and Carolyn. John was a production engineer for Convair uniil a health event prompted him to change his career path to a licensed tax preparer. He faithfully served the San Diego Back Country community preparing taxes for residents, businesses and charitable organizations through his many years living in the community. John was most recently an active member of the Hillside Church in Julian, and enjoyed the fellowship and support from that church family as well as from his many friends from the Julian Community United Methodist Church. He was known for his love and participation in Christian music performances and programs. He was a strong supporter of the Julian High School Athletics programs for many years, and a contributor to multiple, charitable endeavors. John is survived by one brother, Julian Goeb, of San Diego, California; Five grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, and two riieces. In lieu of flowers, John requested that donations be made out to the Children's Hospital of San Diego. A Memorial Service will be held at the HillSideChurch in Julian at 2:00 PM on Sunday, April 21st, followed by a brief service at the Julian Pioneer Cemetery at approximately 2:45 PM. Haney ,- February 21, 1951 - March 31, 2013 Beloved wife and mother, Charlene K. Haney of Julian, California, passed away do to heart and kidney failure, May 31, 2013. She was surrounded by the love of her husband and sons. Charlene was sixty- two years young. Born February 21, 195!, in Pomona, California, Charlene was the daughter of Stephen and Evelyn Rudisill. The younger of two children, Charlene graduated from Chaffee High School in Pomona. Charlene married Ronald J. Keeney in Hawaii on August 17, 1975, and had oldest son, Jason Keeney, in Redding, California. On June 2, 1984, she married William J. Haney in South Lake Tahoe, and had youngest son Damon Haney. For many years Charlene and husband William owned the local restaurant Buffalo Bill's, where the pair could be found cheerfully cooking, serving and chatting with tourists and locals alike. Charlene's dream was to own her own restaurant and her husband made it happen. Prior to owning the restaurant, Charlene ran a gift. shop at the Banner Store, giving locals a chance to sell their home made goods. Charlene was a member of the American Legion Women's Auxiliary. Charlene loved outdoor activities including water skiing, but was best known for her sweet smile and hospitality, kindness, generosity and warmth. By nature, Charlene was a nurturer, evidenced in her love of animals and her love of cooking delicious delicacies and feeding those she cared for. Charlene is survived by her mother Evelyn "Peaches" Rudisill; husband William J. Haney; son Willard S. Haney; son Jason A. Keeney and wife Heather; son Damon M. Haney; grandchildren EllyseHaney; Baylee and Joshua Keeney and soon to be born Naomi Marie Kay Haney; brother Dan Rudisill and wife Mary, and their children Danny Rudisill and wife Lisa, Jennifer Evans and husband Eric, their new baby Natalie; and Charlene's Jack Russell Terrier, Roxy. Robert George will oversee the celebration of life for Charlene Kay Haney at Julian High School, on Saturday, April 13, at 1:00 pm. There will be a reception to follow immediately at The American Legion Post # 468, 2503 Washington Street, downtown Julian. In lieu of flowers, the family graciously asks for contributions to be made to the American Legion post in Charlene's name. r
