Vroom, Vroom Down Main Street
Classic Auto Show Raced Through Town
Saturday and Sunday car nuts
got a chance to check out some
rare vehicles at the Julian Classic
Motoring Society's rebirth. The
show which started on Saturday
with a LeMans style start on
Main Street was a thrill for all
to see (although the shotgun
blast did surprise a few people).
Cars raced out Farmer Road to
the Menghini Winery where a

reception for all the owners and
members of the viewing public got
treated to a lamb chop appetizer
and more cars to admire.
Sunday, despite the cold, and
at times wet weather, the crowd
came out and showed their
appreciation to the collectors of
these vintage racers and eclectic
sports cars assembled on the

town making the experience at
the winery all the more unique.
Most of the vehicles on display
dated from the 1950' and 60's.
Most had some racing heritage
and all got their share of ooohs
and ahhs. There was also a advantage of the event to come
bit of a show in the parking lot up the hill for the day. Event
as a number of car clubs took organizers were all smiles.
