June 2, 2010 FISHING REPORT News from Lake Cuyamaca Last Week's Results and This Week's Prognosis THE TACKLE SHOP IS OPEN 7 DAYS A WEEK 6:00 AM TO 6:00 PM SHORE FISHING GOES UNTIL 7:30 PM Mt. Lassen and the Department of Fish & Game delivered trout this week. The weather" has not cooperated this past week. It was cool and blustery. However, it looks to be a great week-end and next week is supposed to be warm and not windy.' BEST TROUT BAIT: Green worms (fake), Rainbow Power Bait, Night crawlers BEST SPOTS: Pumphouse cove, Dike, T-clock Notables: Mike Omara of Chula Vista, caught his limit of trout in 2 1/2 hours at Pumphouse Cove. Bill Mace of Spring Valley caught 5 trout, 10 Bluegill and 25 Crappie at the Dike. He was using a trout magnet for the crappie and Rainbow Power Bait for trout. Flea of Descanso caught his limit of trout, the largest was 2 pounds at the T-Dock using night crawlers. The Free fishing class is held every Saturday at 10:00 am.
