Their covers are carefully chosen songs written by great songwriters that tell stories in song. This band is sure to take you on a musical rollercoaster of tears and laughter, making for a great night of live music. Jake's Mountain features songwriters Janice Bina-Smith and Blake Rogers who both play guitars and take turns on lead vocals and harmonies. Dan Sankey gives each song his special touch on fiddle and mandolin while Given Harrison will sit in again on upright bass. Altogether this acoustic band plays guitars, harmonica, mountain dulcimer, fiddle, mandolin, upright bass, percussion and joins their voices together in some amazing harmonies. Jake's Mountain always brings an entertaining show with lots of fun interaction with the crowd. Their friendly mascot, Dan's dog, "Jake" will be there as usual for the meet and greet. Come for dinner, bring your friends andenjoy a great night of music starting at six o'clock. "The Yes Team' Returns Saturday It's not just a band. It's a way of thinking. Go on...say it. YES! Doesn't that feel nice? We thought so. Ever since Kinnie Dye, Jonathan Walsh, and TJ Moss drove their purple van from NYC to San Diego in search of sunshine and harmony, a lot of people have been saying YES to The Yes Team. Their mission is simple: to spread unity through harmony! Since their inception in January of 2011 they have won an Emmy Award, multiple songwriting contests, and have played venues such as: The Cosmopolitan (Las Vegas) House of Blues, Anthology (April 2012) Humphrey's Live, Winston's, The Griffin, Lestat's, 710 Beach Club (San Diego) Molly Malone's, The Mint (LA) Mercury Lounge (NY), Lucky Lounge (Austin), Sweet Pea Music Festival (Bozeman, MT) & Stageit.com They released their debut EP "Back to the Sea", produced by Dave Stipe of Little Rhodie Productions in August, 2011. After selling out of the 1,000 copies they had pressed in only 6 months, they're headed back to the studio to follow up with their sophomore EP "Life. Is. Good." This time they're working with Jeremy Miller of Millertime Music in sunny San Diego. Keep your ears peeled for what's in store from this harmonious trio of Affirminators. Do it...say YES!
