He picks up the 1st at the 9 and goes in for the score on the next play. The Braves attempt and succeed with their 2 point conversion. 1:15 left in the game and the Braves are on the board. Sherman 8, Julian 38. The Braves' attempt an onsides kick, which TE Skyler Brothers recovered and blasted a 36 yard return from Julian's 38. Another phantom holding call brings the ball back to the Eagles 45. The Eagles go into their Victory formation and twice take a knee to close the game. Our Eagles finish up their non- league schedule with a record of 2 wins and 3 losses. The Eagles were able to run with the bigger D5 schools and beat the smaller D5 schools. Next Saturday, October 6th, at 7:00 PM, our Eagles open their League play next week against the Classical Academy Caimans at their home field at Orange Glen High School at 2200 Glen Ridge Road in Escondido. We are half way through the 2012 season and the team is coming together nicely. See you in Escondido next Saturday.
