Michelle Harvey purchased the business in March of 2005 and itis now located inside the Wynola Farms Marketplace. Julian Yesteryears is open every day, except Thanksgiving and Christmas from 11:00 to 5:00. Locals and military get a discount on all purchases. Julian Yesteryears carries an eclectic variety of items and that&apos;s just my kind of shop. Qne of my favorite things in the store is the old fashioned tin signs from Ohiol She also stocks grape tray art from Fresno, CA, tapestry throws, a variety of old fashioned home dcor including antique bowls, plates and cups. She also stocks candles including hand dipped tapers, costume fabric, lace and satin and gift wrapping supplies. There is a wonderful selection of sterling silver, handmade and Navajo beadwork jewelry. Michelle also carries locally made and grown Cedar Creek honey and teas. Shoddy, local resident and local photographer is hold a book signing at The Old Julian Garage, 2126 Main Street. Ted's popular photo book, entitled, "Julian Photography," has drawn outstanding reviews from "Julian Photography" Author Book Signing At Old Julian Garage, residents, including artesians and visitors from across the U.S. and worldwide, with his recent limited edition pictorial publication of our quaint tourist town of Julian. Ted designed, created and published the photo book in April 2011, entitled "Julian Photography," a thirty-three page full color photo journal, printed by Lulu Publishing. The book depicts the sights, sounds and smells of Julian and surrounding areas. It gives a pictorial view of the vibrant wild flowers, scenic landscapes and local area wildlife. It shows off the the community of Julian, founded on the heels of gold discovery in the late 1860's. Many of the local businesses, interesting Julian people and community events are showcased. After retiring from law enforcement, Ted met Ernie Cowan, a famed photographer and founder of the Anza-Borrego Foundation and took several photo class excursions. He also attended classes at Calumet Photo and from Robert Oliver, the noted prize winning action photographer formerly with Sports Illustrated.
