Since then, she has been honored in the West Coast Songwriter's Competition; Great American Songwriter's Competition; Great Waters Folk Festivals. This Fiday she brings the talent and some new songs to Wynola Pizza and Bistro for a three hour evening of music and great food. Sara's newest release "The Circus Come To Town" is almost ready and she's still got a trunkful of tunes from her previous releases. Mountain Tribal Gypsy Halloween SpookTacular On Saturday October 27 Hallowwen will be not just celebrated, but presented, embraced and embellished in the 6th Annual Mountain Tribal Gypsy, SpookTacular at Wynola Pizza Express and Bistro. This year the troupe has invited an outragEous new dance troupe - "The New Gypsys of the Purple Sage" to perform with them. This never before seen in Wynola (or'anywhere else) troupe, bring their own style and a new perspective to Belly Dance. Like the Mountain Tribal Gypsy, the NGPS is made up from local dancers, with a passion (we're just not sure for what). As is their tradition the Mountain Tribal Gypsy invites the audiance to come wearing your favorite costume, as the ladies will be judging you for a jack-o-lantern full of door prizes, the zombies are already on the guest list so make-up your best attire for the evenings festivities. It's a Halloween party at Wynola Pizza, on Saturday night, starting at six. Weather permiting outside on the patio, if not : then inside the Red Barn. Either way come early, come in costume and come hungry ,.. you'll have a SpookTacular Good Time. Chris Clarke PLOWs Into Wynola For A Sunday Chris Clarke and the boys: Doug, Jason and Joe bring their moren bluegrass sound to the Red Barn at Wynola Pizza Sunday for a five o'clock show. A great way to top off your weekend and clear your head. Mixing in influences from the Jazz era, classic Blues and Country in a bluegrass confiuration. Surprise is the optimum term when describing the first encounter with their sound. It warm and friendly, yet there's and edge of excitement, that feeling of familiarity mixed with avante guard. The Massachusetts General Court had banned Quakers from the colony under penalty of death. On Oct. 26, 1825, the Erie Canal opens, connecting the Great Lakes with the Atlantic Ocean via the Hudson River. Teams of oxen plowed the ground, but for the most part the work was done by Irish diggers Who had to rely on primitive tools.
