He performs in a wide variety of styles, from blues, roots, and roadhouse boogie to latin, classics, standards and instrumental jazz. Paul's original music features melody and lyrics that narrate a story, with a strong internal rhythm. At the right time and place, he will engage his audience by telling stories that support the songs. His music is totally human, with completely live vocals and instruments. His feet are his "drum machine." Paul became a singing drummer, then a front man and bandleader for almost 20 years. His bands shared stages with Alice Cooper, The Bangles, Jimmy Cliff, The Greg Kihn Band, The Tubes, Johnny Winter, and many others. He performed with a number of well-known San Diego groups, including Glory and Bratz. From the mid-80's to the late-90's, he lived and played all over Alaska. Paul has made music up and down the West Coast, from San Miguel de Allende and Cabo San Lucas in Mexico, to Nome, Seattle, Sedona, San FranciSco, the Grand Canyon, San Diego, L.A., Las Vegas, Tucson and points in- between.
