My husband and I are new to Julian and we so appreciate the hard work and efforts she puts forth to make our town look so good for the Holidays. Rich Blosdale SAL member Firewood Dear Community of Julian: Hi, my name is Michael Vile I am a seventeen year old student at Julian High School. I will be writing a weekly feature on the numerous unique individuals attending Julian High. There are plenty of intriguing and thrilling lives, that I feel should be recognized. I will be interviewing young adults on our campus. The purpose of this feature is to show the community the quality of their up and coming adults, and their outstanding contributions to society. The student's activities range from Musical Symphony to the Delayed Entry Program for the Marine Corps. To start things off I will be doing a feature on myself. My full name is Michael Benjamin Vile and I am seventeen years old and am a senior in Julian High School. Some of my hobbies consist of weight lifting, photography, sword collecting, and history! I plan on attending community college and want to major in Administration of justice, and minor in Journalism. My goal is to become a Police officer or an investigative journalist. I have always loved sports; I took part in the Hotspurs club soccer team in San Diego for four years. In 2004 my house burnt down in the cedar fire, this is one of the most tragic things that has happened in my life. It took two years to rebuild a new home. My family and I spent those two years renting homes in Pine Valley and Pine hills. This event made me stronger as a person. It also made me, my .brother, my sister, my mother, and my father stronger as a family. The,events and people I have experienced thus far have made me who I am today; I cannot wait to meet new people and to continue on the road of life! Thank you.
