December 1, 2010 FISHING REPORT News from Lake Cuyamaca Last Week's Results and This Week's Prognosis WE ARE OPEN EVERY DAY AT 6AM SHORE FISH/NG ENDS AT SUNSET DUCK HUNTING STARTS ON DECEMBER 1ST. We will be closed on Wednesday and Sunday morning until 10 am through the months of December and January. Jess Ranch delivered 1200 pounds of trout this week. Best trout bait: night crawlers, power bait Best spots: Lone Pine, the Dike, North Shore Notables: Edward Svacina OF San Diego caught 4 trout, the largest at 6 pounds using yellow, orange and flreen rooster tail spinner at ump House cove. Gary Buster and Dave Pallom of San Diego caught 3 trout for a total weighfof 10 1/2 pounds, the largest was 6 pounds. They were usmg Gulp and Candy Rainbow power baitat Lone Pine. Cherokee Paul of Poway caught a 6.7 pound trout using a Lil Jake at the Dike. Don Cooper of San Diego caught a 6.7 pound trout using Power Bait at Lone Pine. Bill Mace of Santee caught 5 trout for a total of 6.7 pounds. His largest was 4.7 pounds. He was using orange twist power Bai{ on the North Shore, near the Dam. Steve Hay of San Diego caught 4 trout weighing a tofal of T0 pounds. He was using Night crawlers with garlic dip at the Jetty. The free fishing class is held every Saturday at 10:00 AM, Meet Ranger Charlie at the launch ramp. The Decontamination Wash Down Is Required For All Private Vessels And Motors Before Launch. Also Float Tubes And Waders Must Be Washed Down Before Using The Lake. There Is A Fee For The Wash Down.
